1,000 solar panels at Lineage Logistics, Richmond
Feisst Electrical partnered with NuGreen Solutions to deliver a large-scale commercial solar installation at Lineage Logistics’ cold storage facility in Richmond, Nelson.
The project involved the installation of approximately 1,000 solar panels across the rooftop, helping support Lineage’s commitment to sustainable operations. This installation was the second of its kind completed by Feisst Electrical for Lineage Logistics, reinforcing the company's investment in renewable energy solutions across its network.
With a global footprint spanning over 400 facilities in more than 20 countries, Lineage is the world’s largest temperature-controlled logistics company, making this project a small but significant part of a much larger mission.
Feisst Electrical’s experienced team member worked closely with NuGreen to ensure a high-quality installation, minimal disruption to business operations, and a smooth project delivery. Despite the added logistics of working out of town, the system was completed on time, within the agreed budget, and to a high standard while enjoying some stunning sea views and perfect weather.
This project highlights Feisst Electrical’s commercial solar capabilities and our ability to deliver nationwide, large-scale energy solutions without interrupting critical site activities.
Lineage’s total storage capacity exceeds 2 billion cubic feet globally, making energy efficiency initiatives, like this solar installation, essential to their sustainability strategy.
