Engaged as electrical subcontractor to head contractor Livingstone Building Ltd, Feisst Electrical delivered the electrical services fit-out for Northbloc, a Fonterra facility at 193 London Street, Hamilton.
We completed the base build and fit-out electrical scope concurrently, the project running from May 2025 through to handover in May 2026.
The three-level building underwent a full internal and external refurbishment, an adaptive reuse of an existing 3,100m² structure that included a major seismic upgrade and a new undulating facade design. Our scope covered power, lighting, switchboard installation, lighting control, a utility monitoring system, and UPS installation.
- A utility monitoring system covering both water and electrical metering
- Lighting control delivered through Intelligent Environments
- Exposed services throughout the building, including suspended linear lighting and cable tray
Despite a tight programme with no dedicated commissioning window, significant effort from the Feisst team ensured successful commissioning ahead of handover.
Northbloc is the second major site in Fonterra's Waikato office relocation, alongside South Bloc. The development was delivered by Stark Property.
